Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a program that uses meditation and mindfulness to help people manage stress and other conditions.  It’s a structured program that usually lasts eight to ten weeks.

  • It encourages people to observe their thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations without judgment
  • It helps people learn to let go of worry about the past or future
